Step 2: Once you have booked a date/time you confirm with the venue if you would like an Option 1 or Option 2 party. If choosing an Option 2 'Active Kingdom Inflatable Party' then you confirm in advance with the venue which of the three inflatables you would like to set up.
You should also let the venue know if you would like to go ahead with either of the 'add on' options. If you have queries about the party packages, then please contact us directly before booking.
Is there any minimum/maximum number of kids allowed?

Is it possible to have two inflatables at the party?
Yes, however you will need to have an additional staff member present to help supervise the inflatable. The additional fee for an extra staff member is €60 for the party. With this additional fee you can choose another one of the available inflatables and both staff members will work with your group for the two hours.
What arrangements are made for food at the parties?
As part of the packages you have full access to the kitchen/lounge area for the two hours of your party. This kitchen is well equipped for food preparation. You can choose to bring in and prepare your own food in the kitchen or order food (i.e. pizza) in to the centre for the party and allow the kids to consume it in the party room. We offer special deals with Domino’s Pizza in Tralee and Superbites Family Restaurant in Newcastle West for your party food requirements. Please ask the venue for more details on these.
What format do the Birthday Parties generally take?
We usually put the inflatable up for the first hour of the Birthday Party and as kids arrive at the party they can play on the inflatable at their leisure. After approximately 20 minutes the staff member will arrange some games and challenges on the inflatables. After an hour we generally recommend that the group go upstairs to have their party (i.e. food/cake etc). In this time the Active Kingdom staff member will set up and arrange the activities which will take place for the latter part of the party and will come upstairs and bring the group back down when they are ready.
What activities are most popular?
Depending on the age and gender of the group different inflatables and activities are popular. However, our Obstacle Course and Super Slide are generally popular with most groups. In addition, activities such as Tug of War, Dodgeball, Warzone, Sports Day Games and Soccer and Basketball are popular with many groups.
What ages and genders do you cater for?
We cater for all ages of birthday parties under 16 years and cater for both genders. We will work with the group/parents to design activities suitable for each group.
Can Birthday Parties go ahead in bad weather conditions?
Yes, as the hall is sufficiently large, we can cater for large groups of kids. If it is raining, we will hold all of our activities indoors in the hall.
Do you require a deposit?
No, you can just pay the full amount on the day of the party. You can choose to pay either John Mitchel’s or Active Kingdom.
